The Best Of Russya- - August, 2007

The Best Songs..This subject is both relative and controversial. Some people favor one song, while others may prefer a different one. It's all relative.
That is why this CD is more than a compilation of the songs that were in top 20's of the Ukrainian pop charts of late 80's and early 90's. This is rather a collection of the songs that have had some impact and a deeper meaning in my life.
Starting with my first #1 "Don't stand by my window', (sorry folks sounds a little bit funny when translated in English), and up to the last album "My American Guy" in 1997, all of these songs became a part of my life, intertwining small details and facts of what it was like to be me back then... Even now I can see places and faces when I hear one or
another of the songs. They became my dairy of that period of time. Perhaps this
is why I love these particular songs.
I hope you'll like them too.
